Another TL on the road (pics:)
So my mother was in need of a car and after going to the ny auto show she narrowed the cars down to the vw cc, lexus es350, and the acura tl. After all the test drives the acura left them the most impressed and after all the incentives it just sealed the deal. The cc had a nice shape but the interior was kind of simple and the es350 was just too common. They like the design of the car and the interior is amazing, i think so as well. So here are the pics... the car is a sh-awd tech & has the body side molding and 40% tint all around. They also decided on the acura extended warranty as they plan to keep it for a while. After getting to personally drive it all I can say is that you 4g owners sure do drive an awesome car!

007-you'll be going back to your youth (when you first got yor driver's license). You'll be thinking of excuses and reasons to drive your Mom's TL!
That's a great shot of the odometer....1 mile-classic!

I thought that the techs were supposed to drive it like 10 miles during the PDI? Mine had 11 miles on it at purchase and had not been driven by any other customer or salesperson. In fact all of the vehicles at my dealership have at least 10 miles on them.
thats your dealership...i know my dealership here in dallas, if you go from car to car, they average 5-7 miles...i didnt see any with less then 5 on it, and if they had more then 7, it had a test drive on it...
The white color looks good. All 4 colors look good. In the 6 sp. MT color survey, white is the least picked color so far. So does Acura make all colors in equal quantities?
I also checked my paperwork for my purchased miles. After my test drive, I got it at 55 miles. While I was looking at the papers, I noticed the the window sticker stated the motor is manufactured in the USA and the tranny is manufactured in Japan. I thought that is interesting.

When Acura introduced a 6sp in the '03 CL Type-S, they had the good sense to go with a Japanese manufactured tranny. Fortunately, they haven't changed that policy.
