Advice LED Door Light Logo Projector

Thinking about purchasing these for my 2011 TL. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00FEE...SS115&simLd=1#

My questions are
#1. Are there any drawbacks?

#2. Is this really easy to install or would it be recommended that I go to a shop?

Reach out to User Error. He has those installed on his TL, as seen below.

Don't really like them but I shouldn't comment because I have illuminated door sills.

If you like them then go ahead, if you get them be careful with the installation, it can damage the MICU since there is not enough power from the courtesy light at the bottom of the door panels, as someone suggested contact "User Error" , he has them in his car.

yes lord jesus. pop out the entire housing (not just the clear lens) but including the black housing around it. Unplug the connector, THEN mess with the bulb.

I actually like it. Some may say its cheap looking but the only time anyone will see it is when the door is open at night, so not a glaring in your face type mod.

^+1 - That's what I was thinking, but again wouldn't spend much in the way of time or $$ to do this.

Seeing how the kit is only 20 bucks, it's a cheap mod, but a more lengthy one since door panel removal is involved.

This is awesomely unnecessary! Much better suited for a civic owned by a high schooler.
