I probably reverse that. Paint the beak and leave the outside intact as in the picture a few replies above. I don't think I like painting all

I feel that makes it worse. Paint it all or leave it.

I may just pick up another "beak" if I find one cheap on ebay or something and try different ideas. I think on mine I would either paint the "beak" part and leave the lower part silver like the white car did or I would paint the whole thing. for now I don't really care, I'll wait until I see another grigio metallic guy mess with his and see if I like it

Stock beak=Smiley face
Painted beak=looks tacky
Paint'm all beak= Screams 40K Acura "Camry"

I'm just gonna wait for 08+ accord coupe style or Mugen-style grille for now.

You are entitled to your opinion (yes), but it's all in the eye of the beholder. I happen to disagree with you on two of your three opinions. Stock does = smiley face. However, I happen to think that the painted beak and the entire middle front section gives the car class in some colors. Not all.

Also, when RonJon comes out with their TL grill upgrade it will set this car on another platform as for looks (IMHO)

Now that's my

I plan on getting a new beak and I already bought a rear bumper insert so I don't have to deal with the old stuff and have to worry about it being on my car! now I just have to find a good painter!

I really like how the painted beak only looks on the Grigio and the Black. I just got my Gregio FWD TL a few weeks ago and I had the beak painted andd clear brawed. I love the the way it looks. Ill post pics when my newbie status is up

I happen to like the grill how it is. I like it on the lighter colors as it flows better to me. On darker colors, it does tend to stand out a bit much.

Curious as to how the Grigio would look fully painted as well. I may go that route, or else go with the RonJon grill.

I've had nothing but compliments about the painted grill. Have not had 1 person ask me if it's a Camry...

Did you clearbra right after you painted the grille. My clearbra installer told me I had to wait 30 days before putting any film on it.

They look much better than the huge out of place silver grill, well done I am glad someone toned it down a notch.

Guys, you've all done a great job painting your grills. I like the silver trim the best myself (like on the red TL and the white TL). The white TL especially looks outstanding! I think I like it better than painting the entire grill-a little bit of silver around the edge looks sexy!

That's always a good idea.....paint needs some time to cure.

He did it two days later while I was out of town. My painter is Awesome and been in the industry forever. One thing he does have in his paint booth is a backer. That really speeds up the curing process.

We just purchased 09 TL with Gringo paint. I look forward to viewing your photos to help me decide if I just do the beak or go all the way. Either way the additional paint makes the car stand out, love it...
