2012 TL Financing Rate?

Hi, I'm currently looking to buy the 2012 TL w/ Advance Pkg. Have not talk to any dealers yet, but want to get my numbers ready when I start calling. Does anyone knows the current financing rate for 36month for 2012 TL? Thanks in advance!

Looks like Acura is not offering 1.9%/2.9% APR at this time.

from reading the forum, the 1.9% was expired on 5/3 right? I still see the 1.9% / 2.9% on Acura's financing site for 2011, just not sure if that also extend to 2012..

It was 0.9% for 60 months on the 2011's... It appears that all the 2011's are now 2.9% for 60 and no incentives on the 2012.

I got 2.9% on mine, from Acura, and all the TV ads claim "attractive financing for well qualified customers".

IMO, go by the dealership and ask.

Bought a 2011 TL on Monday (5/2) then talked to the salesman the next day. Acura is telling dealers they may not see any new vehicles for 3-4 months. Because of this, they think buyers will be willing to pay a higher price for existing stock so no need to offer any incentives.

The dealers are also afraid of selling their current inventory too fast and being left without any new cars to sell. I believe their thinking is why sell a car for invoice when someone may come in a week later and offer $1,000 over invoice for the same car.

Deals may be hard to come by until they know more about production coming out of Japan.

They will treat you right there. Lee Mitchell is the GM there, very cool guy. They took great care of me... they invited me to the screening of Thor tomorrow night.. to me, that's a cool thing!

I was by there on Saturday to pick up my plates.

Bummer if true. I "ordered" a 2012 back in March and it supposed to show up finally around the 15th. If this is the case, I'll more than likely take my business to another make.

I love my '04 but its time for an upgrade!

Is $40,130 a good price for a 2012 Advance? Also, has anyone used the Costco Auto program to buy an Acura (specifically a 2012 TL, but info on 2011 TL would still be helpful).

Have you contacted the GM of the dealer and told him that you are thinking about switching companies? IMO, if the dedaler wanted to fulfill your order, they would have done so! I was getting "dicked" around by one dealer and wrote the GM and others about the situation, things turned around immediately.

I think it's a little high. $39,730 is what one site says invoice is, so that's what I would shoot for.

Got 800 over invoice but was able to talk down 250 and Costco also gave me a 50 gift cert to Acura parts so all in all, 500 over invoice. Better than edmund's tmv. Call let them show you their pricelist. Good luck.

They finally got back to me today and said they would still be able to sell it to me at 2.9 when it supposedly arrives sometime next week. We shall see..

The Costco pricing I got from one of my local dealers wasn't too good. 1200-1500 over invoice depending on model.

Actually invoice (they showed too) was $39,430 but then tag on $499 doc fee and TTL is where I go to that #. All in all its $500 over invoice unless the doc fee is a ripoff. The Costco pricing sheet I just go to see and it was $500 over invoice and explicitly says $499 doc fee applies to 2012 models. So I'm thinking I can wait and may save $499-$999 but who knows for sure when that is. I tried another dealership much further away and they were much higher. Setting aside the doc fee (would love any experience with that or how to negotiate that away), it appears as if $500 over invoice is on the better end the price scale right now?

Thanks for everyone's help. I don't need the BEST deal, just a good fair deal.

They should. BofA is offering 2.99% on new cars up to 60 months. Our dealership here uses them so that's not them doing you any favors. Glad you are getting it soon.

checked with local dealer, and they can still do 2.9% for 60month from American Honda financial. So eventhough it's not advertised, it can still be obtained.

Invoice is not going to happen on the 2012 right now, so $40,130 with destination is a really good price for Advance!

It's about $43k OTD (6.25% tax rate).

Actually my OTD is $41887.90 -- Thanks for the input/help. As long as I can get the BofA 2.99%, I'm closing the deal on Tuesday!

I got my dealer to come down $400 below invoice. I guess it just depends on how much the dealer wants to make a deal!

$41.8k for an Advanced, OTD with the lack of '12 inventory? Wow, just wow. I am in shock here. I just don't know what to say.

Sorry guys I think you misunderstood. It's not SH-AWD, its just the base model Advanced. I just don't want to pay for SH-AWD as nice as it would be to have.

41.8k OTD is a good price on the for a 2012 Advance... I think you should be able to get about another 500$ off that price but maybe not with the low inventory anymore.

The best thing to do is to ring up your local dealer to find out about the finance rates for certain.

The incentives and rates of financing are locally influenced. It depends to a great extent on what the local dealer organisation feel that it need to sell the cars.

Note, too, that many incentives for the 2012 vehicles have disappeared because the production of the Japanese content of the TL had to be stopped for quite a while. It will take a few weeks for inventory to recover.

The minimum Japanese content on a USDM TL is 12%, and it has been a problem getting that content since shortly after the Fukushima disaster.
