You're wife is going to see it as a challenge for you. Taking three years off is going to put you WAY behind in your quest to catch me.

BTW, I have a very good friend who probably has both of us beat. If I told you how many cars he's had for less than three months you'd be amazed. Some just a few weeks.

Hey everyone, with full respect, could we please stay on topic and talk about everyone's best price of 2012 SH-AWD Advance?

I do like the side-conversation (and am blown away by how many *cool* cars you've had), but I am specifically watching this discussion for the best price as I'm getting my car soon. I hope the discussion can stay on-topic and more people post their pricing experiences!

Thanks!

We could do that, but the thread will die anyway. There just aren't many people who have bought them.

I just picked up my 2012 SH-AWD Advance ebony / umber in NJ for $42,200 + tax + lic. Another dealer had the car in a different color for $41,500 but I liked the black/umber combo better.

With sales down all over the country, the dealers are hurting a bit. They are will to negotiate.

Former lurker. Thanks for the info, negotiating 42,400 for an order. No Black/Umber SHAWD Advance's in all of the SE. Should close the deal Tuesday.

What dealers gave you these prices?

If I thought this was true I would be inclined to start the process but I don't.

Well that's your loss then. I was quoted that on my first attempt and then finally at $41,750 using Truecar.

Go to www.truecar.com. Pick the car, colors and options, enter your information...
You will have three quotes within 5 minutes. No hassel, no haggel and the prices are guaranteed.

Ferrcad,

Congrats, I guessed right I see !!! Awesome that you were able to keep the .9 financing as well as the great net deal you had negotiated at your other dealer.

Watching to see when the vin appears on what you asked me about today...

Thanks. Now to figure out how to get both a TL and a new MDX to western PA on the same day...

Stay tuned. Color aside, I have another newly arrived Silver Moon with Taupe TL Advance SH-AWD. I really like the new color, especially with Taupe. I'm in need of a Graphite/Ebony in the same config again, but not to be found. In the past couple of weeks, the Advance SH-AWD is in great demand.

Real easy truckem both and then truck mine back to save mileage on new vehicles and used both ways... Not sure if you are getting a trade on the MDX or not but maybe an option... Give me a buzz today so we can discuss...

Thank you-if it is ever built it should arrive at the end of the month or early October. I hope to replicate your deal. My 2010 has 15,500 miles currently so it should be worth a bit more. As I have said in past posts, to make a deal we need a willing, motivated, and reasonable seller as well as an interested buyer. I will keep you updated.

Nice deal ferrcad! How did you manage the .9@60? I have only managed 1.9 from 3 different dealers.

Long story but I was working a deal with another dealer and got it locked over the labor day weekend. The current dealer honored the deal and was able get me the rate based on my locked credit application.

Hey guys, I am new to this forum and my wife and I are getting ready to pull the trigger on a 12 SH-AWD Advance. We are planning on trading our 08 Mitsubishi Evo MR in (paid for), and are fairly open to color. Here's my question, is there a way to search for a certain car without finding a dealer and checking their inventory one at a time via Acuras website? I know my local dealer will have to do a dealer trade, but I would like to be able to see how close or far we will have to go to find the car.

www.cars.com

Enter all the information, and when the TL comes up you can even do some sorting with options on the left side of the page.

Here is the TL search using "all miles". On the main search page you can put in how many miles from your Zip Code to search...
