2012 front end on 2011?

2012 front end on 2011?

from what i see the bumpers mount up the same, headlights are the same its just the hood? currect if im wrong... I can pick up 2011's dirt cheap (20k and under) through my car lot I'd rather save the money so i can put it on 20's and coil overs

I think the hood is the same. Front and rear bumpers, and of course the front grille, are the only different parts.

nexson already did a 12 conversion on a 09-11

look up his thread. it gives you parts list and what needs to be done.

headlights are diff too ... i believe the 12's are blacked out from the factory, while the 09-11s arent ... IMO for how much its gonna cost to get it painted properly, and to do the work to swap all the parts, you might as well just get a 12, unless ofcourse you have a way to get everything done for really cheap or no cost at all

Yep he's got a complete conversion part list floating around, besides the bumper and grille (obvious) you'll need the fog light housings, shrouds, along with a few pieces here and there - it's in the range of $1500 at OEM prices.

Nexson can help you out with paint as well, as the OEM bumpers are only sold unpainted.

I'd like to throw a 09-11 rear bumper on my '12. MUCH better options for lip kits in the rear vs the '12. RJ and OEM are both awesome for the 09-11. '12 OEM sucks unless the car is black.
