2012 Acura TL SH-AWD Transmission Fluid Change

Is it ok to use Lucas Transmission Fix in a 2012 Acura TL Sh AWD... I'm just buying the car and have always used this product in my tranny fluid changes and it has always served me well...never had an Acura and don't want to add this in until I know for sure...Thanx for any knowledge that's of good use

Just change the fluid with OEM Honda transmission fluid, nothing more.

Acura's can be very troublesome when it comes to aftermarket fluids/additives. Personally, I'd replace the fluid completely with new Acura/Honda DW-1 fluid and a new ATF filter.

I don't think I'd use it unless you're experiencing transmission problems. I believe that stuff thickens up the ATF or adds additional friction modifiers to reduce slipping. But if you're not experiencing that, those additives may do more harm than good.

OEM Fluids only. You can get DW-1 from Honda or an Acura dealership.

This is 2020, not the 1960's or 70's. Stuff like this has no place in today's cars. Don't use it. No good will come from it.
