2012 Acura TL California Kit Car
So I was looking at my local Acura dealer and came across one of the best looking Acuras since the NSX! Its a 2012 special edition Acura TL with a California Package. This car is supposed to be exlusive to California and they only made 150 of themm Its totally awesome. It has a factory body kit all the way around the car and comes with kick ass 19" wheels from the factory as well. The one they have is black on black and its screams AWESOME! If I had the money I would totally pick this thing up.

Acura announced today the introduction of the TL California, a limited edition dealer-installed package of street-savvy upgrades and enhancements.
Only 150 units of the TL California will be created, available for the 2012 TL or TL SH-AWD with the Technology or Advance package.
Offered in 3 paint colors – Bellanova White Pearl, Crystal Black Pearl or Silver Moon – the TL California package adds front, side and rear underbody spoilers along with black and silver diamond cut 19-inch alloy wheels fitted with 245/40R19 performance tires. Red California badges and a numbered plaque identify the limited edition.
The manufacturer suggested retail price of the TL California package starts at just under $3,500 installed. The starting price for the front-drive TL with Tech package is $40,330, including the $895 freight charge. The TL SH-AWD Tech starts at $43,880.
The standard TL has a 280 horsepower, 3.5-liter V-6 and 6-speed SportShift automatic transmission. The TL with Super Handling All-Wheel Drive has a 305-hp, 3.7-liter V-6 and a choice of the SportShift 6-speed or close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission.

The same thing I told Grains86 about advertising also applies to you, and you can mention this to GThurman86 so he doesn't make the same mistake.
Which user name to you want to use, so I can close the other one?

Its just as stupid as the A-Spec model for the 09-11 Model in Canada
It was the same badges in the same places (A-Spec) with just the factory skirt, 19" option wheels, and front/rear chrome grill
Theres always 150 suckers who will buy this (hence why they made 150)

Okay I'm not sure if people were roasting the OP for being a SPAMmer, but I can vouch that this thing exists. I just bought my TL July 5, and my girlfriend's bro (who is about to return the TSX lease he has) went test driving. At the Santa Monica, CA Acura dealer, inside, is a white California Limited Edition. I distinctly remember thinking, "oh I didn't think this was legit" but it is.
And yes, it is all body molding, badges and wheel upgrade to the 19" diamond cut alloys. One thing this did was save me $3K though because I was seriously thinking about buying those wheels online but now having seen them up close and personal I've changed my mind (didn't look as nice in real life as they did online).
And no, I wouldn't buy it either. I'm happy with my TL Tech and an additional $5K in my pocket.

 omg...I just saw one in calabasas Acura's showroom. Extra 5k there for nothing. They were actually trying to tell me it was worth more than my SH TL advance and that it would be a collectors buy, that it will appreciate in value instead of dropping , even right off the lot.. Wow

The Elite package give you 19" rims as well. I am not even sure if it's an Acura thing or is it something the dealership is offering independently.
But it makes no sense to pay for extra badges.

I was excited to see this at the dealership this past weekend. Then, I was disappointed when I read the spec sheet. Given the lack of any mention on the Acura website, and the terrible OP, this must have been some bizarre idea from the local marketing department... and a fairly low budget one at that.
There is no custom anything! Just stickers! And who puts the edition count as a sticker out in the open for everyone to see on the center console? For that money, have some custom door sill plates with the count stamped out, or at the very least put it on the inside of the center arm rest.
Bizarre!
