I am new to forum. very happy to see any pictures about 4G TL. I bought my 2012 TL with 17000+ miles on it.so far there is no car in my eyes only TL 4g. It is such a gorgeous car. no one can beat it. When I was driving, I capture any 4g running around me and follow it because it has a sexy rear. I can not see mine when I am driving. lol.
I have a question about the A/C or fan control. When I turn on the fan, the A/C is on automatically. I have to manually turn the A/C off by clicking A/C button. At this time, I do not need A/C only some fresh air from outside. But I have to turn A/C off every time I turn on fan. It is a little bit annoying.
Any solution?

I too am new to TL, as bought mine last week as well , so I am still learning the controls myself :-). My guess is that if you have set the temperature lower than the current cabin temperature, then A/C will turn ON automatically.

lltfly, if you leave the fan permanently on, then the A/C setting will not change by itself.

Or do you turn the fan on and off all the times ?

This. I've determined that that there is more driver regulation in temp control than other cars.
In the mornings, here in Houston, it's been cooler than what I've set the a/c so when i get in the car I've got to turn off/on the fan for it to turn on the a/c on.

Can't you just leave the fan on (at least in the lowest speed setting) when you shut down the car ?

Only this way, when you start the car back up, the A/C will remain in the previous state.
