2010 SH AWD Tech vs. 2012 - Differences?
Hi,
Looking at 2010 TL SH AWD with Tech Pkg.
Other than exterior differences, 5 speed vs 6 speed trans, would there be any other differences compared to a 2012 TL SH AWD Tech? Thanks!

IIRC Canadian models receive headlight washers.

I have a 2010 and had a 2012 for a loaner car for a day. Same ext. and int. color. I noticed only 3 differences. A horizontal chrome trim piece on the radio, black chrome interior door handles (not a fan), and a transmission that can't decide which gear to be in and shifts harder. Made me love my 2010 even more!

IMO the 2012 doesn't look as aggressive as the 09-11 but I am also partial since I have a 2011. I also happend to be one of the few that actually like the 09-11 grill, I guess to each his own.
Good luck in whatever you decide.

for agressiveness, i give it to the 2009-2011 models.
for clean cut and class, i give it to the 2012 models.
but at end of the day.. it all depends on personal preference.
i like the 2009-2011 rear with a 2012 front end.. but thats just me..

Agree with potmilkz - all personal preference. I bought the 2012 TL after test driving and comparing it with its competitors (ES350, IS250/350, G37). I loved the handling and experience and look. I was blissfully unaware of all of the changes between 2012 and 2009-11. Very happy with the 2012.
Now having seen what the 2009-11 looked like, for me personally the larger front fascia would have been a turn-off. And also, I'm loving the six-speed AT of the 2012, whereas the 2009-11 ATs were 5 speed I believe. More MPG = good for my pocketbook (recently got 33MPG on a 300 mile trip through California which included going up and down the Grapevine (4400ft altitude).
But you know your tastes best, buy the one that makes you happy!

revised rear styling on 2012 as well. smaller rear deflectors, license plate moved up, rear lights are all red, different exhaust tips, shorter overhang. The front headlights have a tinted cover as well.
