If I were you, I would compare how much it would cost for a professional install versus the time you’ll be spending and the tool you’ll need to purchase. Plus, if a professional install mess something up, you have the right to receive some type of compensation (make sure you have the job in writing first before work starts). If you accidentally mess something up, that’s another story. My friend is well equipped in his tools, very knowledgeable in performance tuning, and has patience. That is why I trust him over any other installer professional or not.

haha well ive installed a 3g kit before.. same process.

to be honest.. if you have the pdf file you shouldnt be able to mess up.

just follow the steps and you will be fine. thats how i was able to install the 3g kit perfectly

ive been out of commision due to my back. the kit has been sittin in my garage for 3 weeks lol.

also this gives me time to order my hid kit along with switchbacks.

im going to do this all in 1 day if possible.

Correct the guide is pretty much self-explanatory but accidents can always occur if you’re not careful or clumsy like me. I ended up returning the switchbacks because I don’t want to full around with the electrical part anymore. Plus, the light setup I have now suits me well.

I’m pretty much done with my modification for now and I’m only at 2,500+ miles on the reader. Until I need new tires (many miles from now), I might get some rims and drop it with Tein H-Tech. Spent almost $300 yesterday on detailing products alone and waiting for it to arrive. Once my baby is clean and shiny, then picture time for posting.

One thing I might add: Once we took the bumper off, we did not see any foam cushioning. Is there suppose to be a foam piece there like many other cars or maybe the damn body shop guy didn’t put it back from painting my rear trim.

no foam cushion from what i can remember. now the newer cars do not come with them.

as for switchbacks, ill install mines with disconnected battery lol..

i know the risks of doing this but not many people have issues with it.

What do you guys think of simply installing the Front Lip and Back Bumper underbody spoilers and leaving the side skirts the way they are? Would that look odd? Or how about adding the front lip and leaving everything else the same?

Thanks

hmmm, was eager to do this until I saw the cutting of the rear bumper. Still might do it though, as I hate paying for something I can do myself.
