Just noticed some paint flaking with the red “S” on both sides of my MDX. No issues with the rear badge, or any of the badges on my TLX Type-S. Anyone else experiencing the same?

How do you typically wash the vehicle? DIY, car wash (brush or brushless), pressure washer, etc.

 

Great question. Full ceramic coating first week of ownership. Hand wash in my SoCal driveway or Griot’s Speed Shine. No power washer, microfiber towels, etc. No automated car washes.

Same treatment the year older TLX Type-S gets … no issues with those badges. One difference is that the MDX stays outside. About a mile from the ocean.
