USB Problem
Are the audio files in one of the formats the car can read? From what I recall, there are some odd restrictions on file types, bitrates, etc. The USB device also has to be formatted the way it wants.
exFAT also works on my 2022 MDX, not sure if it would work on a 2025 though. I know NTFS won't work.
Windows can't format a USB drive above 32gigs using Fat32, so you need a third-party disk utility to do that. I think I used guiformat which was easy to do.

I uploaded my CD collection (450+ CDs) to my laptop using lossless music format and then uploaded them to USBs.
I used 64gb drives because it takes a while for the stereo to index the drives and I did not want to go to too many gbs as it takes longer to index the more storage that is used. Staying at 32gbs or less would have required to many drives.
FYI, this restriction exists because the FAT32 file system is unstable with volumes >32GB.
You can use 3rd party tools i.e. HP Disk Format Utility, but you run a greater risk of data corruption. That said, flash memory shouldn't be used for long-term storage anyways.

Any chance that stick had a read light on it? Did the light blink at all? If the stick doesn't have a read light, can you try one that does?
Trying to figure out if the USB port is at least getting power and if the car is trying to read the stick.

Plug in your phone and see if it will read that via USB
