I'm pretty impressed with the new MDX's 5-60 time (6.6 sec). That's about the same as the Mercedes-AMG GLE43, and even some sedans (Cadillac CT6 3.0TT, Genesis G80 2.5T) which are lighter and have more HP and torque. Good call for going with the NA V6 instead of a 2.0T, no turbo lag like the aforementioned vehicles. Well done, Acura.

I don't think that's a misprint. I've heard that's about the max speed as limited by software.

It looks like it might be a mistake when comparing other vehicles with the same 15.1 second or 112 mph speed: https://www.0-60specs.com/0-60-times/

15.1 Second 1/4 mile = around 91 to 96 mph (Caddy XT6, Honda Odyssey, Lexus RX 350)

112 mph 1/4 mile speed = 12.4 to 12.8 second (MB CLS550 4.5 sec 0-60, Lexus GS F 4.4 sec 0-60 times, Aston Martin Virage 4.2 sec 0-60 times, Audi A8 3.9 sec 0-60 times)

That kind of mpgs was the reason I retired my 11 MDX from road-trip and daily driver duties (winter beater, Home Depot, and rain day SUV). I can see 16-19 mpgs being the norm for the larger/heavier +22 MDX if you want to get a certain level of performance out it.

Keep in mind the test was done in snowy weather. From personal experience when it snows, my mpg goes WAYYY down significantly.

Takes a while to defrost, then takes longer for engine to warm up, more wheelspin wasting energy, more accessories running to keep everything and everyone from freezing, no engine auto start/stop, etc. Each of the above contributes a little and combined together would cost mpg to go way down.
