Next Generation SH-AWD in 2014 MDX?

The 2015 TLX will launch in a few months with the "next generation SH-AWD". Is this already in the third gen MDX?

2015 TLX can be purchased with Acura's next-generation "Super Handling" all-wheel-drive system, which is 25 percent lighter than its predecessor

I thought Acura already deployed the "next Gen" sh-awd in the +14 MDX? I think it performs the same as before; just XXXlbs lighter.

I'm not sure if they are talking about the sport hybrid sh-awd in the RLX and NSX with the electric motor or the lighter sh-awd version already used?

"Next gen" is hydraulically controlled clutchpacks. MDX and all before it have electromagnetically controlled clutchpacks (those wire coils aren't light).

MDX's weight loss is mostly from chassis-in-white and interior appointments.

There are no changes in drive system from 2014 to 2015. If there are going to be any it will be in the MMC 2017 model.
