Oil and Filter price?

Was just quoted $99 for an oil and filter change from my local Acura dealer for our 2022 MDX. This is in WA state, curious what others are paying at their Acura dealer for this. Honda dealer said $59 with full synthetic, I think Acura uses a synthetic blend? This is the first oil change on this vehicle, would you have Acura dealer do it or Honda dealer? The Acura dealer is where we bought it and have all warranty work done. TIA

Is it an option to bring your own oil to the Acura dealership? This is what I've done since 2006 with all 5 of previous/current Acura's. I purchase a jug full syn oil from Walmart for $26-$30 and use Acura's labor and filter for $32 for an oil change. The price was $26 for the same service before the lockdown. I do rotations/balance with Discount Tires, purchase my own engine/cabin air filters, do my own wipers, and alignments with Firestone to cut down the price for A/B oil services at the dealership.

I have used both Honda and Acura dealerships to service my 21’ RDX Aspec without any issues. Honda is closer to me, so I just go to them for most maintenance.

If it’s half the price of Acura, why wouldn’t you just go to Honda?

I have had all my Acuras and Mustangs serviced by ONE person at my Honda dealer. He's in his 40's...knows me well...cares about my cars like they were his own....is the top rated
Tech there....and normally doesn't do oil changes....but, he will do my cars. And the dealer gives me discounts always on oil/filter changes. Never over $30! YES...Honda does have
synthetic blend and full synthetic avail. No reason to go to Acura to do service work. For Warranty...that's obvious...to most anyway...you MUST go to an Acura dealer.
