Hello there,

I started to perform schedule maintenance myself as I ran out of warranty.

Soon, I will be hitting to 100k, and performing assessments of what the job entitles and what requires removed etc.

I am not an A+ pro mechanic, however i dont shy to troubleshoot and fix issues on many things.

So, for spark plug replacement, new MDX has a big crown on/around the engine where houses the air filer (just replaced it to rectangle k&n filter). Also, there is a big plastic housing right end of the windshield. Should i just remove the crown or the plastic cover under the windshield? Or both ?

Any recommendations on which spark plugs i should buy ? BOSCH IRIDIUM ?

What year and engine is yoru MDX? go to Rockauto.com, plug in your year and it will give you the options for replacement spark plugs NGK Laser Iridium is the only thing i would use personally as that's what came with the car.

Thank you for the recommendation, it is 2022 MDX , it is probably too soon for many of you.

Do you know if there are any originL service manuals that could possibly lying around ?

Honda stopped publishing printed service manuals. You have to go to techinfo.honda.com, you can buy a 1 day subscription and download all the pages relevant to the job.
