Display Symbol

I’ve searched through the owners manual and the navigation manual and I cannot seem to find out what the “Hd” symbol that shows up on the navigation screen means. I really never noticed it until a couple days ago and it isn’t there until the vehicle has been on for a few minutes. Something to do with the SiriusXM? Also, what does the +1 mean? Sorry if it’s in the manual and I missed it.

That's the HD Radio symbol. I would assume that shouldn't show up while you're using SiriusXM.

Uh oh. That doesn't sound good. Seems it's only appeared since I started to try update the map.

the plus one means you have a message. click on the top button on the side that controls that part of the screen and it should pop up your notification center.

The Acura maps use the HD radio system I believe to provide the traffic info on the native map. That could be why it’s on there.

actually don't click the top button LOL but lightly scroll until the area with the +1 is highlighted, then it will tell you your message.

Well I accessed that portion of the display but there not any notifications or messages anywhere. Still stumped.

I think I’ve figured it out. The +1 is showing how many phones are in the vehicle and available for the Bluetooth. When I was alone in the vehicle it said 1 and when my wife is with me with her phone it showed 2. I shut my phone off and started the MDX and there were not any numbers there. As far as the HD on the display, it must be to do with signal for the traffic as someone mentioned previously.
