Acuralink
I did 3 years of Acuralink on my 18 RLX and 19 MDX because the OEM navi is so difficult to input destinations and do searches. I put around 20,000 miles to 30,000 miles per year on my vehicles traveling and having easier navi input options helps. I use the Acuralink app on my iPhone and say a complete address, find nearest X, or send an appointment address from my icloud calendar to my vehicle with one touch (Acuralink is linked to my iCloud calendar events). It also makes is nice using Acuralink since my wife has the same app on her phone and she can do all the navigating/sending on the go.
I have wired Carplay on my 19 MDX; but, not on my 18 RLX. I like the simple graphics of the OEM navi compared to busy graphic of Waze or Apple maps. Plus, it is a PITA to use a carplay with Waze only using a knob. So, worth it for me; but, Acuralink isn't for everyone. I probably would get Acuralink if I'm really familiar with the areas I traveled or just stayed within the city limits mostly.

I find my 2022 to be light years better at voice recognition than previous systems. I can easily verbalize the address and the navigation system will recognize it. Again, much, much better. I'm speaking of the Acura system, not CarPlay.
