Transmission cooler, hitch, 7 pin wiring harness and new relocation (slightly to the right of center) toe kick sensor for rear hatch. No, I did not do any of the work, Acura service advisor mentioned I was the first MDX they installed the new transmission cooler on which was on a long back order (February). Very pleased with the look and installation.
Yep it does look good. I have the hitch as well. However the right sensor was not ordered when they installed so I am waiting on that as well as the cooler.
How much does the dealer charge you for the parts and labor? I'm looking to install a transmission cooler, I've seen 210F transmission fluid temp a few times now on the Florida interstate.
Same here. We negotiated the full 5000-lb tow package with Acura ATF radiator as a deal-maker for $1000 over with the MSRP price of our MDX-S purchased in February. We had to wait till July for all the parts to arrive. Just recently installed by our dealer.
I’ve heard of some really high dealer prices for this setup: $2-4K. If you want the tow package, try to work it into your purchase deal, is my recommendation. (I’ve also seen an aftermarket hitch from Curt that works well too, with stock bumper, much more affordable, but no ATF radiator.)
I won’t ever tow anything heavier than a couple of mountain bikes, or maybe small U-Haul trailer, but I believe the ATF radiator is essential in a big SUV like this. Especially out here in scorching Arizona. It’s a really clean install for the hitch, big ole’ bolts and still room for a spare tire/wheel. Which I’ll install as soon as the spare kits are off back order.
See you out there!

This reminds me of the 2G MDX where a bunch of members on here were installing accessory AT coolers to protect the engine. Iirc it really did make a significant difference for those people in the long run.
