Cool Which one should i go with ?

I am debating whether or not to get the rear guards for the MDX and if I do then which ones?

Here are some pics.

I would like to put on in the front too just to make it match.

Which one?

Please let me know if i should or shouldn't.

I don't like either one. To me, it justs takes away from the looks of the MDX.

But your choice.

I don't like them but if you live in or drive in New York City you better have something like this or else your car will be a mess after a few bumps by limo and taxi drivers.

Not really feeling any of them, but I would go with the second one on the rear and skip the front all together.

My $0.02

Not a fan at all, those are fxxxing ugly and take away from the clean lines of the X, but like everyone has said, it is your ride, do what you want.

I'd rather have a bumper respray after a few years...
Better to take the chance of it looking ugly from getting scratched than guaranteeing it looks ugly by slapping that thing on there.

As everyone has stated, it does take away from the clean look of the MDX but I understand the intent as I lived in NY for 27 years (Live now in Miami and the drivers will tear your car apart with parking..... a little "tap" to the bumper is norm for parking in NY. I would choose the last pic of the rear.

I hope you're not one of those NY'ers that still says NY is the best but choose to live down here 20 years from now!

Yeah, you aren't lying...you should move to Broward, MUCH bigger parking spaces and lanes on the street. Driving down US1 yesterday and parking near UM...wow...I had forgotten how tight spaces are. NO wonder there aren't any "clean" cars down here...fender benders and car doors swung open!

oh please no. if you park in the city why don't you consider a bumper bully instead. at least that way you are driving around like a wannabe 4x4 truck. sorry...i saw a lexus Rx outfitted with a grill guard and the head and tail light guards. it was awful...he even had 20" chrome rims and lowered. :ick:

or drive a city beater, then you dont' have to worry about people hitting it.

I have been trying to convince myself of one of those but I might not get one. Maybe the single bar because it has a step. I do use a bumper bully. It doesn't look bad and it protects against those ass$&@! that can't park.

I'm from the city also and had both front and rear guard for my Honda pilot. It did protect the back from all those @##hole driver. I took off the rear after an accident and within 2 weeks I got scraped on both sides by careless @##hole. That's NYC. I am looking into getting a 2012 mdx now but I would still go with out the front and rear guard, it just take away the look of the mdx. I would just have the bumper resprayed every few years. Just my

They all look terrible IMO, but then I don't park in the city streets.

I will never forget where I came from..LOVE NY but with that being said I live in absolute paradise! I love the fact my boys get to grow up here.............I just don't get all the hatred or jealousy from South Floridians towards New Yorkers.

The second rear one is acceptable but not the front, in my opinion. But I agree with others that none is better.
