2022 Infiniti QX60
Infiniti revealed the new QX60 today! So simply they took the Nissan Pathfinder and called the new premium Luxury Infiniti 🤦♂️
I spent 15 minutes putting both vehicles in two separate screens and compared them and oh boy. I don’t know why would anyone pay for the QX60 when Pathfinder has the exact same features.
Good news for Acura and MDX Infiniti is always one step behind. The QX50 came out at the same time as the RDX and we saw what happened to it, and now the QX60.

I got a little bored with the Kate Hudson QX60 video on YouTube. It seemed to focus more on Hudson... her morning yoga and pancake routine than the car itself... there maybe a reason for that!

The new QX60 (and the Pathfinder on which it's based) looks like a vast improvement over the previous model, which was behind the times when it was released a decade ago and had barely been touched since then. The styling is bold and modern, and the equipment levels and transmission are finally class competitive. In fact, a lot of the interior features plagiarize the MDX like the removable second-row center seat and extra underfloor storage behind the third row.
The bad news is that the driving experience will probably be boring just like the previous model, and the Infiniti brand has lost its luster and the sporty reputation it used to have. This new QX60 still feels like it's chasing the MDX, GV70, and Aviator, and the pricing will probably be its only selling point over anything else in the near-lux 3-row segment.

Infiniti dealership in the heart of DT Chicago shut down while Acura still stands. Nuff said. Infiniti days are numbered and its all because of their incessant use of damn CVT!!!

Well, that's probably a good thing. My wife's 2013 535i has the ZF 8 speed and it's about the best shifting tranny I've ever driven. I did remember reading that early on they had some serious issues with the 9 speed but I assume they figured it out.
I just picked up my advance a couple days ago and I'm liking the way it shifts; smooth and not too often. It's not at the level of the ZF I think but still pretty good.

When I was shopping last year I looked briefly at the Infinity SUV's and they seemed like old technology, IE not updated for 10 years and still pretty pricey. I remember reading a prediction that they would be out of business before long. For the last couple of weeks I was doing research that resulted in my MDX advance purchase. I looked at the Pallisdae, Telluride, Highlander and X5. Never even thought to consider an Infinity.
