That link is for the Vega Truck.

You mean these, right

I am not sure of their reputation. PM Rice1304, he seems to have some good opinions.

I just put some Zenetti Crow 18" with Nitto NT555 225/40/18 on my 2000 TL and they rub like hell in the back. They say they are a 45 offset but they look like a 40.

But they do look damn good on the car, they are very reasonably priced and they seem like a good company. No complaints here other than the rubbing. I'm probably going to get rid of them in place of some Lowenharts or something (that I know I can get a +50 or +52 offset) because I don't want to deal with any cutting or rolling. I know for a fact I can't drop it either with these rims.

Consider that before you make your purchase. The rims are great, but they just don't fit well on the car. Hope that helps.

Ryan, do you know if Vega has the same offset as the crow?
I couldn't find anywhere in the website that has offset for them.

A friend of mine told me that the offset was 114.3 but I think that's in mm. is that what yours is?

thanks

It's 1 piece. I would get em if the offset is right.

I am going to yell at the guys at Discount tire so while I'm there throwing my rims back through the window I'll check the Zenetti book and see. If it is an 18x7.5 rim it will be a 45 offset (rubs like hell on my 2000 TL).

I'll post tonight after I check... send me an email so I remember.

SlickTL17,

I found out that the Zenetti Rims are a +42 offset. The Vega, and the Valeo (the ones I wanted) are both offered in 17x8 and 18x8.5. Some of the places are trying to sell them as +45 offsets (not sure if the difference is that big), so I would be cautious. I'm planning on dropping my car with Ctech springs, so I don't want to risk getting the wrong rims. I've decided to look for other rims in at least a +45 or +50 offset. Hope that helps...good luck.

According to the Zenetti book, the rims (as mentioned above) are a 18x8.5 or 17x8 and have a +40 offset.

At +45 (the Zenetti Crow @ 18x7.5), I took a corner at about 25-30mph (no faster than normal) and *scraaape* Pains me to hear it. Especially since i'm still with stock springs and shocks!! Time for the Lowenharts I guess. Too bad I can't look at snook's wheels page... I need more ideas! Anyone?

Thanks for the info. I guess i can't bootleg my car with 1 piece rims.
Oh well, I gotta look around for something around +50 offset I guess.
It doesn't look like 1 piece comes with offset that high

So I went back to Discount tire today and they said they can shave about 3-5mm off the wheel so it'd put me around 48-50mm offset. Anyone know if this shaving idea is good for the wheel or what? They said a combo of that and rolling the fender would help fix my problem. And they were going to pay for them both to be done since it was their fault they sold me rims that didn't fit.

Oh btw, I looked a little closer at those Zenetti Vegas and they say "40/42" for an 18" in the offset field. Whatever that means....?

So again, anyone against shaving a 3-5mm off the wheel or rolling fenders please speak up! I wanna know before I hurt my baby.

DON't DO IT RYAN!!!

I personally wouldn't do it. I rather find a rim that will fit properly.

I had a head unit and a cd changer installed in my other car and dealer said they would not charge me for the installation. They did a TERRIBLE JOB. I guess it's becasue I wasn't paying.
So my recommendation is don't do it. Once u do it, it's not gonan be the same

That's the problem I'm running into... the only rim that is a +48 or greater offset that i acutally like are the Lowenhart BS5 or BR5 wheels. But (of course) they are $445 more each plus tax. $2000 more... hard to part with esp. since I spent $2600 for these Zenettis.

Know of any good 18" rims that are chrome, look elegant, have at least a 48 offset and cost under $500 or so each? And I'm not a big 3 piece fan... and I like split-spoke rims (esp like the BR5 Lowenharts). What would you do? :-(
