Your opinion on these wheels...

Hey, I have a black 1999 3.2 TL and I have been looking for wheels for a couple months now and I am starting to get pretty serious about buying some... here are a couple of the choices that I was thinking of...

and yes, I am looking for a chrome look not racing style... I had a 1996 Honda Accord with 18x7.5 Alba Berthas running on 225/40/18 Yokohama Paradas... I am hoping on getting the same size wheels and same size tires...

Alba Lexo 18x7.5 +42mm offset

Alba Inertia 18x7.5 +42mm offset

Niche Spitfires 18x7 ? offset

My main reason for this post is to find out peoples opinions on how the wheels look... but if anyone could tell me if they think they would or wouldn't fit on my car, that would also be great!

My car is lowered with Ground Controls 1 and 3/4 inches front and back...

Thanks!

The offset is much too low for 7.5" wheels. Absolute minimum would be +45 with 225's.
Personally I don't care for any of those wheels. Good luck on finding a set you like and that will fit properly.

Exactly - "fit properly".

Bling, bling. Therefore, not my style.

that is the bare minimum specs you should get (so maybe some rubbing sometimes) but higher offset would be better.

The wheels are not really my style either. If I had to choose between these three though, I would pick the first one.

thank you for your responses...

a couple more questions about offset and whether or not wheels would be able to fit on my tl...

would a wheel that is 19X8 with a +47 offset fit?

what about 18x7.5 with a +53?

and an 18x8 with a +46?

Thank you all in advance!!

Eric

also...

Stanman said that 18x7.5's and +45 would be the bare minimum and that there might be some rubbing and lawaia said that it is much too low of an offset...

I am just getting mixed answers...

if someone who has 18x7.5s or a +45 offset on their wheels could tell me how they are working out for them that would be great!!

thank you again

I said much too low for the wheels that you posted. I also said absolute minimum would be +45.

18 x 7.5 +45 with 225's will be ok. May need to trim the bumper tab.

i was actually referring to the 42 offset (there were a couple that you posted) with 18x7.5s...don't get any lower than this, possible rubbing because this is what i have EXACTLY on 225 tires. it's lowered on eibach prokits and i had to trim the bumper *tab* to alleviate most of the rubbing (though is was not too bad to begin with).
