Xxr 530 18x8.75 +20
Hey guys, I'm in need of some help here.I'm pretty sure this is not the first thread about the xxr 530 wheel. I have a stock 04 Tl. Need to to know if the 18x8.75 wheel with a offset of 20, and some 225 40 18 tires would fit on there with no problems. like rubbing ..?

but here you go:
for the front: you have a 50/50 chance of the car rubbing with 235/40 if you are lowered. some didn't rub, i and some other did. every car is different. and that's with rolled fenders
for the rear: you'll probably rub under load
if you don't plan on lowering at all...do not get those wheels. they will stick out really far and it will look bad. lots of poke.
if you don't have a 6MT or Type S, just get the other offset and stay with a square setup (non-staggered)
good luck

you will rub with a 235 tire. and I would highly recommend you go with a square set up. You had it right your very first post. 18x8.75 +20 all around with a 225/40/18 tire and you are golden. Being able to rotate tires FTW!!!!

It's going to come down to the negative camber, drop, and the specific tire you're running. You're really down to the millimeters here, and people forget that all cars, drops, tires, etc are different, and when you're asking about millimeters people simply CAN'T tell you what you need to know, you have to do it and see for yourself.
If you're wanting a standard 235 with -3° camber, then yes, it'll fit fine. If you're wanting something other than standard with -1.5° drop, you're going to have a problem.

i, and others, specifically posted about this.

^^^ He is absolutely right. If you are not lowered, you will have some serious poke with +20 offset. If you are at stock height and not planning on lowering, go with the +33 offset as that will be pretty flush at stock height.
+33 - 235/40/18 tire
+20 - 225/40/18 tire
I'm assuming you have the automatic transmission. IF you have a manual than the +33 offset will NOT CLEAR BREMBOS without the use of at least a 6mm spacer.
