Wrong Tire Size on 19"s??
I've gotta 2006 5AT and i just got some 19's.
They are ASA ST3 19 x 8.5 +42mm offset.
I got Dunlop SP Sport Maxx 235/35/19. I notice just about everybody else here has 245/35/19 especially on their RonJon wheels. My wheels are the same specs, but why did tirerack tell me to get 235s ? Also, i got the TPMS sensors installed.
Also, im gonna drop it. Probably Comtpech Springs. I wont have any rub issues, right? Like i said, the specs on these are EXACTLY like the RonJon Inspyres. Would 245's be better for pot holes and everyday driving?
Here are some pics.

It would be a good idea for wheel protection. Theres nothing wrong with it though. But its good for protection like I said.....

i've been pulling my hair out deciding what to do on suspension. i had an 04 TSX with an eibach sportline kit (approx 2.5") but no new shocks/strusts. The car drove/handled great, but all 4 18" wheels got cracked on a serious bump. I've weighed out ALL the options for my TL
A-Spec
Eibach/Koni
Comptech/Koni
Tien Basic
I live in the NY metro area, and pot holes are common. Can i get some good feedback from people on what drop i should use? I guess since i've got a 235 tire, rubbing wont be a problem , eh?

every rim/ tire shop person i spoke with told me 235/35. even Ron Jon personally told me 235/35. when i was looking @ wheel&tire specs on this site i got mixed up because so many people go with 245. anyway, i got to Queens often & hit a lot of bumps but i'm glad i took the right advise & went with 235/35 for my 19x8.5's. they are definately not rubberbands. i think that it has to do with maintaining the original ride height & throwing off speedo/vsa, but i'm not sure

235 is more suited to a X8 wheel, although it will fit a X8.5 (and a X7.5). I think, technically, you can even put them on X7's and X9's. It's not going to hurt anything; it just means you have a little less patch on the road.
As for throwing off a speedo, a 245 isn't going to do anything noticeable, so if anyone has that in the back of thier mind as a concern, forget about it (PROOF - fill in the specs of your wheel/tire on the right and scroll down).
BLACK - those wheels look great!

I thought they looked like Mercedes wheels...they look bigger than 19's, too...probably due partly to the design and partly to those 235's. 30 lbs? That'll slow you down a bit (it's heavier than stock), but they sure do look good...
