Work Emotion CR KAI

hey everyone, newbie here, just bought a 2008 TL Type S a month ago, im starting to look at a few lil things to mod it, just suspension and wheels, maybe some exhaust, but im more a visual guy,

now i love the look of Bronze/goldish wheels on White cars,

Mine obviously is the Pearl White 08, now my question is does any one have a white tl with Work Emotion CR KAI Bronze rims on it? would like to see some pics, ive looked thru the entire thread of Wheel specs and such, but nothing,

anyone??

thanks In Advance

Here are a few shots of my Type-S with the CR-Kiwami's. They are the next generation of the CR-KAI wheels. They are pretty similar and these pics should give you a good idea of how the wheels will look on your car. The first three shots are with a thinner tire (245's) and the last two are with 265's on all corners.

I believe that the CR-KAI's are not as concave as mine and mine wheels aren't covered in Work decals.

The specs of my wheels are 18/9.5 +30. I hope this helps

Very nice set up. How low are you? Are you rolled? Any rubbing issues?

Thanks for the compliments guys...

Nyordrms, I couldn't respond to your PM because your box is full... So I will do it here.

The rims did set me back $1800 in addition to the new tires to put on the rim. I purchased the Continental DW's which are an excellent but expensive option. I originally had the A-Spec suspension (in the first 3 pics) but then I decided to go a little lower with a set of teins. When I went lower I also brought the wider tire... which didn't work out well. I had to roll and pull all the fenders and it created a lot of work for me. I probably could have pulled off the wider tire on the aspec suspension and call it the day... but I didn't. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Morissey, I thought at one point you were going to swap your wheels for the +20 versions. Or were the +20's the ones you had originally and then you switched to the +30's..?

Originally, I was debating the +20's then opted for the +30's. the +20 were way to aggressive for me. I am still very happy with my final decision.

Wow I can't believe you're running 265's with those rims. That probably took some work but your car looks great. It's good to see a setup with some real tires. Had you gone with +20 it'd be another TL with skinny, stretched tires.

i like your setup Morrissey, 245 on 9.5 would have been perfect on that droped, 265's looks good too. Lot of Aziner ran 235 on 10.5 is to crazy stretchy and unsafe. A'm glad you when this rout. being cool and bing safe=FUN.>_<
