Will WORK Emotion XD-9 in 18x8" 45mm Clear Brembo's?

Looking a getting a set in trade and wondered if anyone here has any knowledge of them fitting over Brembo's.

Work Emotion XD-9 18x8" 45mm offset.

http://workwheelsusa.com/product.php...ry=27&wheel=79

I searched my butt off. I found the same wheel and offset fitting a 2008 Subaru STi with brembo's. But not a TL.

I even called WORK USA themselves. They did not know.

Any info would help.

Not too sure but 45 is a weak offset. You'll be sitting the same as stock wheels which are 17x8 +45.

That was absolutely no help at all.

Any real info would help.

But going to trade for them anyways. They clear Brembo's on Evo's and on Subaru's in the same size and offset. So it should be good. I have hubcentric 5mm spacers if not.

The wheels will be my winter wheels. Have a set of Ray's I will be running with summer tires.

Just wondered if anyone had them before.

Don't be rude. It doesn't seem to matter what anyone says, as you've decided to go and get them anyway. Plus, you've stated you have 5mm spacers in case they don't fit, so you should be good to go.

1, don't be an asshole.
2, do they work or don't they, since you're test fitting them.
3, you're just name dropping and you're being an asshole and be nice to the locals that actually come in here to help you out, like undying dreams.

Otherwise, really, this thread is an STD.

Wow people. I'm being an Asshole?

I wondered if anyone here actually has these wheels and fitment. I have to drive two hours away to trade for these wheels and wanted to know if anyone here has run them or test fitted them.

What do you mean about name dropping? Don't really get that statement. Cause there Work Wheels? How else would you know what they are?

"0.02 cents" is 2% of 1 cent. I think you mean "2 cents" or "0.02 dollar"

anyways, back on topic, I dont think they clear. I looked into XD9's awhile back when I was looking for rims, and I think I deducted that I'd have to get the +25 to clear. I don't have any hard proof but I did have a friend who had that exact spec(18x8 +45 on his civic) and when I saw it, I was pretty sure it wont clear as is. A little bit of spacing should probably fix the issue though

keep in mind, just because it fits an evo/sti, doesnt mean it clears the TL brembos. The rotor hat lengths are different in the 2 cars, and I've found that there's actually quite a few wheels that can clear the evo/sti brembos, but not the TL.
