Question Will this setup work?

I have a 04TL lowered on Tein S.Techs (1.5in all around). I'm looking into getting a set of rims. I want to do 20's but can't ride on 35 series tires in NYC.. Is anyone running this setup and do you think I will rub.

Here is the setup:

20 x 8.5 +45 235/40/20

Considering the stock Aspec 18" is a 40 profile already, Plus a 1.5 inch drop, I'd say yeah, it'll rub. What offset were you looking to get?

I had 40's on my accord in NYC and man I used to pop a tire a months with the pothoes so for sure 35's are a no-no in the city

Wouldnt the setup you mention skew up your odometer ?

I dont understand the offset part in wheels, can someone please explain?

The offset is how far the rim sticks out from the hub. As in, where the lug holes are located. the higher the number, the further out the lugs are. So for instance, FWD cars generally use higher offsets, and RWD cars use lower offsets. The offset of the rims I'm looking for for my Chrysler 300 (RWD) is 18.

If I am incorrect, someone please correct me.
