Lightbulb Widening stock rims

If you guys ever wanted to widen your wheels.. this looks like another option. Didnt know this could be done. It would make me nervous though.

It looks like one pothole and that would split into 3 pieces.

volkswagon and audi guys building euro style cars with super wide wheels have been doing that for a long time.

if the welding is done properly its just as strong as the cast. guy on the roush forum just did this to his rear rims with a positive turn our also.

yep, it shouldn't break into 3 pieces (if done properly)
