Pick whatever rims you want, you can go either one of two routes..

Get 245/40/18 tires (18" x 8.5" rims) you can also do 8"

OR 245/35/19 tires (19" x 8.5" rims) you can also do 8"

Very popular is www.ronjonwheels.com they fit absolutely perfectly lot of guys have them....

Some other guys have foose speedsters (close to or cheaper than RonJon's)

expensive rims you can go Volk, or Maya's

Cheap rims you can go privat netz

hope this helps

I also wonder, does size infuence ride? Do 18's ride better than 19's. Can those of you with experience answer this? Thanks.

245/40/18 do ride better, than 245/35/19

The smaller the sidewall the shorter the lifespan and the the noiser the ride will become when they get worn in...

People get the 19's because of the shear looks...

Here is some more info for ya

245/40/18 and 245/35/19 are almost the exact same size in diameter which is .6 inches larger than the 235/45/17's that come OEM

I am looking for some wheels for my 06 TL as well. I am looking at the Volk CE28N with these measurements. 18 inches x 7.5 wide +48 offset for both front and rear with 5 bolt 114.3 pattern. Your recommendations list 8 & 8.5 for width, will 7.5 be a major issue? I know a vendor who has these in stock. I would like to avoid having to wait 2-3 months for a special order to get in.

If the above mentioned wheel is compatible what tire would you guys recommend? Thanks.

7.5 would be very narrow i would not do it. 8 inch is the smallest you should go. I dont even know if the 7.5 would work, never seen anyone do it before
