Wheel spacers ?

Have new Enkei falcon wheels on 235/45/17 Conti DW's. Find the wheels sit in to much what i like. They have installed plastic spacers to correctly bolt on wheels.
Read some people installed 25mm back and 15 mm front to give wheels a flush look. Just want to know if i order hub centric spacers 64.1 mm that i don't need to cut or trim original studs off my hub for spacers to fit. If i decide i rather not want spacers i can always go back to original offset and bolt hub configuration.

Guessing Hub bolt length "35 mm"??? Need what size spacers to clear hub bolts or cut, trim spacer to fit flush?

My enkei falcon wheels are 45 mm offset with probably 5mm spacer.

this question makes no sense. But I am gonna say that if you get spacers, you don't need to cut stock bolts

pretty sure u dont need to cut...there are grooves in the back of the wheel that will allow the studs to fit i think...

This is the bolt on wheel spacer you'll need:

So for a 15 mm spacer i would need to cut unless my Enkei Falcons have some extra room in the back with a indentation for the stud lugs to sit flush with wheel.
So the job of putting on spacers 15 mm front and 20 mm rear isn't a do it yourself.
Problems can exist cutting the lug bolts making them flush with the spacer plate. Vibrations with wheel may happen later and if i wanted to go back to existing specs i won't be able to.
Looks to me a bit of a gamble just to get a cleaner look with wheels sitting flush with fenders and quarter panels.

Spacers cost anywhere with shipping $150 for pair and then installation, maybe alignment. Looking at $550 to $600 for wheel spacers installed? With 17" wheels i don't think it will make a big difference in the entire look with spacers on unless i had a drop or bigger wheels like 19"? If this is true maybe i shouldn't try spacers, anyone agree?

I don't understand why you keep bringing up "cutting" in this thread. When you install spacers you don't cut ANYTHING. My A-Specs have room between the spokes for the stock studs to sit.

You can see that the back of the wheel has the cutouts for the studs:

yea what are you talking about cutting studs. You need to research about spacers on this site because there are multiple threads about it and there is never a mention of cutting the studs. Most of the wheels have the indentations in the back there.

Looked at the youtube video above i posted about cutting studs for wheels to sit on spacers flush.
I don't have any experience on how long the lug bolts stick out from the indentation of the inner wheel with 25 mm 15 mm spacers on the hub?

So if this is true that original lug bolts don't interfere with mounting of the wheel with the spacer on, there's no problem. Just wanted to know before ordering hub centric wheel spacers on my 06 tl that with oem rims and falcon enkei wheels i won't find myself having a surprise problem.

Just like my enkei rims i had put on i thought the lug nuts from my original oem wheels would be able to to be used. Sorry but no, i needed new nuts to mount the new wheels and a small spacer as well. So forgive me if i sounded odd on the spacer issue which i read in other posts. Nobody gave a how to book on mounting them. Only with some research on the web i found generic spacers without hub centric will be a problem with wheel wobble issues.

I just wanted to be clear that the lug bolts had clearance when mounting the wheel onto the new spacer. So they would not be in the way by rubbing or stopping the wheel from being flush with the spacer.. Before i decide to buy 25 mm spacer on the back and 15 mm on the front. In hindsight i don't want know that the wheels can't clear the lug bolts and therefore cut the threads just as my youtube video above showed.
