Wheel spacer questions

Gents, could you please point me in the right direction...I want to go as wide as I can with my stance without doing a ton of additional mods. What ar my options for a stock suspended 06 TL?

Also, where would be the best place to source these and what price am I looking to pay?

Are you trying to go wider on stock wheels?

I would just ebay them I believe they go for 100 dollars shipped for 4 now. 20/25 combo is your best bet! When I installed spacers (bought used from a member here) I had a weird wobble/vibration so I Ended up buying some xxr527.

^I agree. 20/25 is a good combo, but I've seen people run 25/25 and it looks pretty good too.

Thanks guys! 20-25 won't be too wide? Meaning I won't run into fender to tire clearance issues?

if stock tire is 235mm wide, add 20mm to it.
= 255mm.

take ruler and put up against tire. add 20mm.

Ok, so leave it alone? Was looking for a lil stance to aid in cornering. But if it's gonna look goofy I'll scrap the idea

spacers are mainly for looks and hardly for cornering.

if you want a wider contact path, you would need a wider contact path.
a 235mm tire is still a 235mm tire.

if you want a larger contact path, move up to the 255mm wide tire.
I'm on aspec suspension(hardly a drop at all) and a 255 wide tire looks really nice.

I chose the Aspec springs with Koni yellows.
Performance is my main goal from this car.
thats why it mainly stays stock looking, because exterior mods doesnt really add to the driving experience.

I enjoy the car now that it has 255/40/17, progress rear sway bar, aspec springs paired with koni yellows.
it really has tightened up the ride.

I also enjoy the lift off over steer, i get when plowing into a corner and lifting up from the gas pedal.

while; I do enjoy the looks of a slammed car/lowered car, I dont think it will be happening with this car.

gotcha! makes since! I really want to do coilovers and lower my car but streets around here suck a$$ and there are alot of ramped railroad crossings that I almost scrap at factory height. Im second thinking myself and may want to just go the aspec suspension route with progress RSB and get the lip kit as well.

That's exactly why I can't lower.

So I should be able to get 255's on my factory wheels? I assume so but just verifying.
