Wheel Size and offset question
Hey guys. I own an 04 TL and it came with the brembo brake set up. I have been searching craigslist for some decent rims but i still dont understand the offset to well. I owned some Konig 17x7+46 offset and they did no clear the caliper. I also read on another thread that 17x8 +55 wont clear either. I came across some BBS reps 17x8.5 +35 and iam still not convinced they will work aswell. I was thinking the higher the offset the better the clearance but of course having to take into condsideration the spacing and that other stuff. What would be the correct rim size and offset i should be looking for? My car is at stock ride. Thanks

Lower offset better clearance.
You could always run a spacer to clear Brembo's.
8" wide would be the narrowest I would go on the TL. The BBS might work.
The XXR +35 won't clear brembo's.
Go big or go home or run spacers.
