I was just wondering if 09 wheels will fit 05 tl.

you have your info way wrong, i watched the video clip a long time ago there were no adapters....rx7 guy got cheap lugnuts from ebay that weren't meant for racing.
Now it is a fine idea to use adapters just use correct lugnuts and torque it to proper specs!!
