Wheel Locks

Is it possible to get wheel locks for every lug on my wheels but with only ONE key for all of them.... My Wheels got stolen 3 weeks ago and I am about to get my car back and I would like to avoid this at all costs. I would think that Having locks on all the lugs would deter thieves from stealing the wheels due to the additional labor involved. So is such a kit made if so where can I get it.

If they want to steal them, they will. Locks will not stop them, only deter them. Id suggest a motion sensitive security system, a dog, a gun, motion sensitive lights, cameras, a tazer, death ray, or a shark. In that order.

I see your point, but 6spdtl-s has got a point as well. If a thief likes the wheels enough, he will figure a way out.

Or you can pursue five sets of same-key locking nuts, if you so choose.

adding tilt sensor to alarm is very good idea. If you have a directed electronics alarm in ur car, its like a $30 add on for the part.

I realize it will not make the wheels theft proof however it does make it more difficult to do it. I understand that some of these petty theives are lazy and it could deter them from stealing my wheels. I have amped up the security of my house with motion lights, I am currently seeking out a security system out with motion activated surveillance cameras and other things as well. But does anyone know where I can get the Locking Lugs for all of the wheels with one key that fits them all.

I was originally told I can not get a spline drive for my car because I got replacement TL Type S wheels for my car.

You can email a wheel lock retailer and request 20 lugs, 1 lock (I'd actually get 2 just in case - you'd be in a hell of a bind if you lost the only one ).

When I had my modified F150, I had a bag of 4 lug keys. If I remember correctly, the front wheels had all 5 lugs being locks. The rear had maybe 2 or 3 locks each wheel. I had different studs on the front than the rear and needed to get rims on at 2:30 am. The only place open was a 24 hour Autozone and they were out of 12x1.75 lug nuts, but had a few packs of locks.

It was a true PITA to do a rotation!

rays look great - but that's if you need all new lugs. i'm sure they'd manufacture just the locks.

If using the Acura OEM wheel locks you can order additional lock lugs and keys by using the order card that came with the locks, I did a similar thing on my old Civic!
