Unhappy Whats your thougts?

When I get the new TL S I plan on getting TEIN lowering springs (1.2" &1.3") on it. They say that the springs are 15% stiffer. Does anyone with these springs agree with that? Does the ride feel "a lot" stiffer than stock? (15% doesn't sound like that big of a difference).

I also want to run 20" X 8.5" 235/35/20 wheels and tires on it but don't want them to rub. What offset should I run? I want to have the wheels as close to being even with the body with out rubbing or sticking out. Is there the perfect off set for the look I want? I've read the wheels and suspension threads in here but just want to see if anyone has had a problem with this set up.

I like Volks but I don't think they make anything larger than a 19". I'm leaning towards the Privat Netz (I know the quality of Volk is better but I really like 20" wheels). What are your suggestions as far as a 20" quality wheel in the $500-$800 price range that have that 10 spoke Privat Netz look? Thanks

I know they used to make 20" volks...i've seen them! You're kinda going from two extremes though(high end to entry level), you should consider something in the middle if you can't find 20" Volks.

The lowest offset you can go with 8's is 30. I know Kennedy has 8.5 Volks with 36 offset, looks really aggressive. I've heard the Tein STech springs, which you're talking about, is actually a little smoother than the Type S springs.

If its feasible you can also consider the Tein SS coilovers with EDFC. I love mine, best setup for any occasion at the push of a button. I have 19x8.5 RJ's 245 wide tires and have it set at lowest possible setting with no rub ever.

Ballin the Axis Pentas look pretty sick. I went to their web page but I didn't see any 20 X 8.5 they had 20's but not in that size. Aren't you running NetZ? If you are what size are they and how do you like them?

Stillhere I checked out the Enkei's they look good to but they don't come in 20's oh well. What are you runnin?

TLfourplay- How long have you had that setup on your car and has there been any issues? Also if oyu don't mind me asking How much did it cost you?

I put them on about a month after I got my car so around Nov of 06 and I love em. Never had an issue yet, the EDFC is awesome. I paid about 1250 for the coilovers with the EDFC system.
