What's the best offset for 18x7.5 rims???

What's the best offset for 18x7.5 rims???

I want to get 18x7.5 rims..but i have eibach springs...the prokit
i don't want it to rub on hard turns and when it's loaded with people...
so what's the offset to go on? i know +42 will rub...what about +48? +50? or anywehre in between.

help! :I

never rubbed with my 18x7.5 with a +49 offset...you should be just fine and dandy with a +48 or +50. People have said that they have no probs with a +45 offset either on a lowered car.

i would go with the +48 or higher just to be safe.

anything over 45 for 7.5 wide rims on 225/40 tires. if you go wider on the rim (and tire) or just the tire (on the same rim) then you will possibly need it closer to 50. and if you camber correct, you will need to make sure it's somewhat higher if not already so. i camber corrected and rubbed a little bit more, which is why i did a little bit of cutting.

I have 18 X 7.5 with + 42 offset, no rubbing.

is there a ride different or cornering difference with +42 offset, 48, 50 offset?

no ride difference, but there could be a track difference if the offsets varied wide enough. but those 5 or so mm's would not change much.

+45 is the minimum...probably +48 would be ideal though.
