What is the value of A-SPEC/Type-S wheels

Wow, I haven't been here in a minute. Lots has happen to me since I use to post whore here but still have the ACURA TL

... Hey guys, I have a opportunity to purchase a set of 2 different wheels and need help. What is the market value for these wheels and a good price to pay. I don't want to pay a crazy amt or top value rate hoping I can score some on a set.

1st Set~ A-Spec (Black Chrome finish) 18x114x7.5 (4) w/center caps *NEW*

2nd Set~ A-Spec (Gunmetal finish) 18x114x8 or 8.5 (I forgot the width... The set that clears BREMBOs) (4) * NEW*

Thanks for the help

The Gunmetal set, 2nd that you listed, are worth the most. They were only made in 2004 and it was the only year they were 8.5" wide. I got mine off of Craigslist for $500 but they were in pretty rough shape. In excellent condition, they can go for about $1000.

With that being said, the Black Chrome 18x8" A-Specs are much more common and can be had for hundreds less. Whatever you decide, both sets will fit over Brembos and both sets are effing sick

If the black chrome is 7.5" wide, better check the offset.
Actually better check the offset on both to be certain.

TL vs TL-S ... No The set of wheels I listed are different trims and do NOT fit all trims. The Black Chrome set will NOT fit the TL-S w/BREMBO option. Thanks

i'm with turbo on that one...sure those aren't knock offs (black chrome)? as far as i know all the OEM rims are 17x8, 18x8 or 18x8.5 (these were limited availability) with regard to the aspec option with all offsets being the same and fitting all trims of the 3G TL.

so...what you're saying is that those black chrome rims won't fit a base TL 6MT either b/c of the brembos? need more info on rims...are these OEM or aftermarket look alikes?

It was stated that all OEM rims will fit all trims of TLs and that is correct. Now, if you have a set from another make/model then the 3G, that certainly does not qualify.

One item I’d like to add concerning the use of the ’07-’08 base wheels on a TL-S. Although they fit, they should be used with 3 mm spacers as the wheel is closer to the front caliper than what the recommended clearance is by Brembo.

guys, remember that he said they are *new*, so there no way he can get them under $900 (you can always order a set from our vendor) for the Black Chrome finish (by the way all a-spec are either 18" x 8" or 18" x 8.5" for TL, so your 18" x 7.5" are TSX's aspec). As the gunmetal one I think you would have to pay close to $1400 for them cuz brand new price for a set from dealer cost more than $1600. Unless you know the guy and you are getting a deal from him

My apologies to everyone at this point. My #s were off and are correct to those who have listed the w & d sizes of OEM TL wheels. So, they are not 7.5. That was my fault. I started this thread hoping I can buy a set since all the trims are available to me in 2 or 3 different finishes. When I say Black Chrome, u guys know what I mean. BTW. They are the real deals from HONDA OF AMERICA stamped ENKEI as the manufacture and center caps in original boxs. Thanks
