What tires ??

On the market for tires .. Had bf goodrich a/s tires and I could feel every bump in the road .. Looking to get something for more confort .. My question is should I stay with the stock size tire or go with a bigger size .. Like 240/40/17 I have a stock 2008 tl . Would going with a different size help any?? And if so wat size would be best for softer ride ...

I have searched and everyone just talks about fulling the wheel gap and getting a wider stance .. I just want a better/softer ride ... Thanks

Get 245/45-17 replacement tires. Although not a big fan of the DWS for reasons expressed previously, most report a comfortable ride. Might also want to look at 245's in a H rated tire as they will also be more forgiving than the W rated. While the tire is standing upright and unmounted, push down on the tread to see the difference between the various speed/load ratings.

I have Bridgestone Potenza's on my stocks right now. They are pretty comfortable plus the tire comes out a little so it prevents the rims edges from being damaged.
