What suspension Tein,H&R,Megan,elbach?

Hi,

Im new from the board and just purchased a 2008 TL-S 6sp a months ago and i think now is time for the suspension upgrade

so what do you guy think?
I looking for coil over either Tein SS H&R and Megan racing,

what do you guy think.

I believe everyone know Tein and H&R but Megan racing have 32 way damper adjust and the price is the cheapest

here is a link if people want to know about Megan

Megan's aren't the cheapest but they are a good option. I think that 3 guys have them on here but I don't think any of those are TL-S's. The Factory A-Spec is available for $600. The Tein basics are around $700 whereas the Megan's are around $825+ shipping

I'm kinda tempted by the Megans. My goal is to have a decent drop 1" - 1.5", with the best performance at a minimal loss of ride...

Would love to hear about how the Megans compare to the aspecs...

Don't forget to add a Progress Rear Sway bar while you're upgrading your Springs/Shocks.

ive been in my buddys type s and megans can get even softer or stiffer than type s suspension.

check my other threads and you will see them on my car and some other trinkets installed (ie:megan knob extenders)

FYI, i was torn up about this for months.. and all the suspensions are GREAT products.. but....

Megans, which come with the top hat already installed (which i think is AWESOME, because you dont have to assemble the suspension)... thje Megans have an aluminum top hat, where as the Teins that re-use the OEM top hat, are rubber.. this plays a major role in ride comfort... of course, the aluminum top hat will prove slightly, and i mean SLIGHTLY better performance, it will also make the ride SLIGHTLY, stiffer....

they are all good choices.... and they will all make the car "look" the same when adjusted to equal heights.....

i say Tein SS with EDFC. but Megan ones looked nice, especially with the extended damping adjuster.

The Megan package is great as a complete assembly, almost bought them. Seems like all the big name coilovers are comparable for the TL, don't know about the S specifically. I went with H&R's for my DD base TL.. I don't really need damper adjust ability, would have used a middle setting and left it. I know H&R's quality first hand, the warranty is also a lot better vs competitors, they been making susp products for a long time. I had a slight issue with my fronts, but I'm a perfectionist so some would not have bothered. Basically I added a hardened metal washer between the spring and the nylon washer.
