What offset should i go with drop

I have H&R springs getting installed on my car. i have the CL-S rims chromed out. My question is that i will be ready to buy new rims soon, what offset is best with the H&R Sport drop?

I dont think it really matters with a drop or not, you just wana get a rim that is the closest to the stock +55, correct me if im wrong.

Yup. You can even drop with H&R race springs and it will not rub. I believe +45 is the lowest you can go with if I'm not mistaken.

It depends on the size and width. I have 235/40/18's on 18x8 +45. I had some plastic trimming in the rear but no big deal. Oh yes, and I have the Eibach ProKits which drop a bit more than H&R sports. You would have little trouble w/ +48 or higher with the H&R sport drop.

BTW, I like the 235/40's because there circumference is with in a couple 1/10ths of stock. The speedo effect is negligible.
