what is the max drop for TL......

I have an 04 TL and want to drop it but i don't know the max drop i can do with 20 inch rims. Anyone else have 20's that lowered their ride? If so what drop do you have and are their any problems with it?

Thanks

Depends on so many parameters...

1. Specifications of the wheels...
2. Size of tires used...
3. What type of suspension...
4. Modifying the fenders...
5. Camber adjustment...

The list goes on and on...

What are you Realistically trying to achieve???

I personally have 20 wheels with a 2.25" drop in the front and a 2" drop in the rear... and i have no problem 'cause I MADE it work...

not looking to roll my fenders on the 04 cause i thought they were pretty much rolled. i think the dimension of the rims are 20x8.5 with 245/30 tires. looking really about 1.2 to 1.5 max. just so it sits over the tires.

If you remove the fenders and go with 8" rims, about a foot.

That depends on your offset, but I'm on 19x8.5's, with a 1.75" drop all around, and I don't rub at all, and my fenders have not been rolled.
