I have some 16 inch snow tires from my old car I want to use on a winter set up for the tl, what honda/acura 16 inch wheels should I be looking to by?

I think thats what a lot do .. for steelies ... try the Tire Rack site .. I think there is a way of telling there.

I know we put 17" honda steelies on a TSX.

and came back with little or nothing like in the threads you found. Thats why I have been posting and asking.
There was nothing in the threads you found other than tsx wheels fitting.
SO maybe you could answer the question instead of flaming me......

WOW you are right thats a ton of info on fittment, accord wheels don't fit and tsx wheels do. Soooo out of allllll the honda/acura's tsx is all that will work.... I bet there are a few more that work.
There isn't a lot of info on 16 inch wheels on this board. per sodaks using the search function. thanks for your help....

In one the threads I found the 16" civic wheels don't fit either.

You don't have many options. Prelude wheels and 2 gen TL/CL are the only other 16" OEM wheels that I can think of that you can try.

Guess there aren't many options, that would be way we/I can't find much, when searching. I know I read somewhere that the older tlmwheels offset is more and they don't work either.

I find it very strange that there aren't more wheels that fit across the brand, every other brand car I have had, there where at least 5-6 different cars worked with other cars in that brand.

Guess I will have to buy 16 inch steel wheels....

There are plenty that have the same bolt pattern, it's the matter of clearing the brakes AFAIK being 16". There are many options in 17" and 18", even a few in 19." Where are you located? I imagine you've checked craigslist?

Im from the boston area, been looking on craigs.
Thing is I have 16 inch snows that I want to try to use, I have an auto tranny so the 16 should fit.
The tirerack and a few other posts I have read said they will work on the auto tranny.
I have found the bolt pattern its 114.3 correct?
Whats the offset of the stock 17's?

5x114.3, yes. Stock offset is +45, or +42? I think it's +45 though.
