What Are The Best Sport Tires to Upgrade the 2005 TL with?
Hello fellow Acura Afficionados,
Just wondering what kind of ultra high performance tires you have? and recommend for upgrading over the stock tires on the 2005 Acura TL based on price, quality, warranty and performance levels. Stock tires don't do justice to this car.
Michelin Pilot Sports A/S Version 2, Falken 512, Toyo, Bridgestone S0-3, Pirelli, Yokohama, etc.
I am looking for excellent handling, decent wear levels, quietness and firm sidewalls for exceptional cornering abilities.
Thanks in advance for your helpful replies.

I've got Michelan PS-2's and I'm blown away by their performance. They replaced the factory HPT and are a perfect match for the TL if you don't need all-season tires. They are quiet and predictable and hold the road like suction cups.

When did that change to the factory HPTs happen? Must be very recently.

One on the right for me
I just put on a set of bridgestone re750's...I know there are probably better tires out there but so far im happy with them, more road noise than i would have thought but they stick everywhere.

I've been very happy with the Pirelli P-Zero Nero M+S. Good value, good handling, nice ride, relatively quiet, and all season capability. Summer tires would improve handling but compromise other areas. I've heard very few complaints about the Michilen Pilots - but they are pretty expensive!
