Weds Sport tc005's 17x9
Picked up a set of Wed Sports this week looking to put them on my 04 NBP TL 5AT. They are 17x9 +42 , currently on bald 255/40/17s. The tires were used on a track car and are to much tire for my daily which is on stock ride height.
My question is what tire size would you suggest.
235/45/17
245/45/17
The 235 setup keeps stock specs but might be too thin that is why I mentioned the 245.

I would go back with the 255's
There is thread here about running 255's on the stock 3G wheels CLICK HERE and there has been nothing but good feedback. Your setup will be similar to the stock wheels (17x8 +45 iirc)

Wow that was a lot of reading.
My only concern is the wheel gap since I'm staying stock ride height :
"Because the 255/40 is a half inch shorter in diameter than the OEM 235/45, the tire fills-up less of the wheel opening."
