Whatcha guys think? I've been pondering what rims to put on my wdp/ebony. Gunmetal, black, or maybe...white? Any pics out there of a 3g TL with nice white rims?

I am looking to get black chrome wheels for my WDP myself, but you have to do what you like.

Just imagine trying to keep those rims clean. And for me, I think that white rims are just too

Its a very fine line. which is why i want to see pics first! I think with the right wheel design, white could be hot!

there is nothing worse than a dirty wheel, do you plan on cleaning them daily, if not, don't go that way. Been there done that with a Mini Cooper and white wheels, never again.

Yes, the other problem with a white wheel is that it will be hard to match the Acura WDP.

My suggestion is, if you like this design then go with the real thing. Don't even waste your money with those knockoffs ----> SSR GT3

IMO opinion, that's too much white. One of my buddies has black wheels on his C5 vette and it looked hot! That may be something else to consider if you want to go colored, if not I'd just stick with the standard aluminum finish.

that would look bad.....come on man dont ruin a nice looking tl. i think there is no point of people purchasing rims before lowering..just my opinion.

I'd say stick with silver (rather than chrome). I don't think white wheels suit the TL. If you're loking for contrast, then the gun metal or black wheels would look nice.

My vote, go with black or a gun metal color.

I'm not a big fan of chrome and besides, cars with chromed wheels are a dime a dozen now.

Black is the way to go and what I would do if I had the money to spend on wheels.

Here is an example of white rims on a 2G. Although these are Volks, the wheels just cheapen the look of the car.

btw, thanks for all the input guys, the purpose of this thread was to keep from making a potentially very expensive mistake

Don't do white, it's impossible to match to the WDP. Then your car, bumper, and wheels will all be a different shade of white.
