Volution rim opinion

anyone like or dislike this Volution rim for 2004 TL black.
http://216.242.145.9/shop/product.phtml?p=194&large=1

just wondering if the 3" lip will look ok. i'm just looking to replace oem rim since i already have Falken ST115's in 245/45/17

i like the style, so if anyone can recommend a oem replacement that looks like this Volution, please post link.

I know I've seen this style before and at alot less than $650 a wheel. Zeneti comes to mind. I don't understand how a deep lip helps in drifting? Sounds shady to me.

the price is high. i've seen other sites doing a wheel kit (rims & tires) for around $800.

I thought it was $650 per 1 rim and 1 tire.

are there any like this that have same as oem rim size, 17x8x45mm ??? i got Falken 245/45/17 st115 tires. i'm afraid to change the offset either way as then the tires may hit well lip or rub on strut. the st115's also call for a 8" rim minimum.

i like the Volution rims alot, and price is ok, but i can't find anything that has same as oem offset and width.

ROH wheels makes a wheel called Drift R which is available in 17x8 5x114.3 +45.

Pic is 18x8, big lip...17x7 probably wont have that lip

CVAJS In my opinion i think you are very close with the rim from your post. But! I think it needs to be a fuller rim for example the rim your thinking of if it had to more set of spokes per rim i think it would look better this is a big car and needs a full rim or else i think it just looks like crap.

This is what i could come up with, if they come in the right size. i like the Falken Circuit Spec, but i don't think it comes in the right size. any opinions on these rims ??
