For standard fitment specification, we recommend 19x8.5 +35 all around.
LiquidXTS is running very aggressive with his 19x9.5 +33 all around.

No need for adapters, as we machine all of our wheels to spec! Fits perfectly with you 5x114.3 PCD and 64.1 hub bore!
Your awesome. Thanks so much for the info. 👍😊

You won't need them if you order from VMR. I didn't need anything besides the center caps that came with the wheels. =)

I bought VMR 710 19 9.5/8.5(previous model) from a buddy of mine. Some say I may need them to fit with my wheels. Wanted to make sure...lol. I appreciated it.

I'm on Tein Street Flex. It gives me the full adjustability just in case. And thank you =)

The GTI bore won't fit your car. Consult with Tracy and see if he can help you out.

Ohhh,
The GTI uses a 5x112 bolt pattern with an R13 ball seat wheel bolt.
Unfortunately, this will not work on your car.

That is to say, I've seen people run 5x112 wheels on 5x114.3 cars but it is very very very much not recommended nor safe.

Hi Tracy,

I was gonna go buy the 5x114.3 bolts and try that route or get an adapter for it.

That's going to be way harder and more dangerous than getting the right wheels for your car. i had a set once redrilled to our pattern and no shops would touch them for rotating (luckily i was able to get a refund on those wheels)

I'm afraid sockr1 is right.
It is possible to redrill the wheels but many shops are hesitant to work with re-drilled wheels because if not done properly, the structural integrity of the wheel can be compromised.

Would your friend be willing to refund your money?

5x114.3 is the bolt pattern. On your Acura, you utilize 12x1.5 lug nuts where as on your buddy's VW it uses 12x1.5 lug bolts. Unfortunately, changing your lug pattern isn't as easy as buying new lug nuts, bolts or studs.

Buying adapters is possible too. Typically they are 20-25 mm in thickness so this could push your wheels way out and be super aggressive.

Liquid I am loving this setup man!! I almost caved for a set similar to this but a bit more aggressive with a staggered fitment. I ended up caving for some Battles instead as I love the satin bronze finish. Glad you went with VMR they have quality products

hey! im looking into buying the VMR 710FF 19x9.5 or 8.5 +33 for my 07 TL-S that is on stock suspension. i was wondering can i go with 225/45/18 tires instead of the 245/35/19 tires? and if i would have any rubbing on my fenders with either of those wheel sizes

Not trying to be pessimistic because god damn does that look sexy.
I was wondering how much of a drop off did you notice in performance? Is it a pretty obvious speed decrease, or anything else worth mentioning?
I want to go with 18's so I figured I'd ask someone with 19's lol.

Looks absolutely amazing! I have the same color Type-S. I was undecided between VMR and Miro 111's. Miro confirmed with me that their +35 18's do clear the brembos so I went ahead with those. Seeing your car is making me second guess my decision! It's a similar wheel and I'm sure mine will look great too!! Thanks for sharing and clearing up quite the mystery about what will clear Brembo's.

OKAY! update!

Miro 111 18 x 8.5 with a +35 offset does NOT clear brembos! After Miro head office confirmed with me that the wheels clear Type-S, twice, I test fit them this morning and a no go!! Dammit!! Might be looking at these VMR'S after all! No disrespect to Sockr1, but he was right on cue !! but had to learn the hard way. So my dilemma is to return wheels or go with spacers to clear, but not sure how big?

sorry that didn't work out, but one out of hundred times i know what i'm talking about

i'd return them and get the vmr wheels. they are much better in my opinion. say no to spacers haha

another option is to get the wheels i have, tsw nurburgring in 18x9 +32, but to be honest i think the vmr wheels look better than mine, even though mine are lighter in weight (still upset they didn't know brembo clearance when i was researching new wheels haha)

I know this thread is old but seeing the photos your TL it looks amazing did you have to roll the wheel wells or do the wheels clear with no problems

This is good to know!! What wheels do you have that clear brembos ? I'm interested!
