Hey guys so I am finally going to pull the trigger on the VMR V710 wheels in hyper silver. I was looking at 18x8.5 ET35 and was wondering is anyone running these wheels and specs?

I have an 05 if that makes a difference. I dont want to rub and I want to clear Brembos. Thanks in advance

 

Those specs likely will not clear BBK. However, you always need to test fit. Offset I snit the only determination in figuring out "will this clear". You also have to take into consideration the face style/slope, as well as the back pad. And if you end up looking at 3 piece wheels, you need to determine the face type.

8.5+35 will definitely NOT rub. Ever. That I can guarantee. Your best bet is test fitting for BBK clearance but my history with the 3G TL and countless wheels I've had tells me you will probably need a 20mm spacer to clear.

i can't find that thread either! i wonder if it got deleted since they dropped their subscription as a vendor...
if you email vmr they have all their fit and clearances on file for the tl with brembos

i ended up buying some vmr wheels a while back! they are v810 but in the 8.5 +35 specs that you want and they clear the brembos just fine. i have a ton of pics in this thread:
